There is a problem with gang violence all over the world, fighting for territory and for leadership. 100% of cities with population greater than or equal to 250,000 reported gang activity in 2001. It is estimated that 772,500 people in USA were members of gangs in the year 2000, 8% less then the number of active members in 1999. Ages of members in all gangs vary, they could be as young as 10 and as old as 80+. In "Freedom Writers" (2007) a group of all students hated each other because of their race and gangs. In the process an innocent person was shot and killed on accident. the group of students learnt to accept each other despite of their gang.

That was really good information and I agree with you 100% with how they had to learn to accept each other.
