Class room discussion

This seen started off with a drawing and was meant to be racist, the drawing was of and African American with big lips, the teacher has an argument with all students talking about how is was wrong, then one of the Mexican students starts saying she hates white people because they abuse people of others races just because they can, the students get really emotional and by the end of it the teacher gets a bit of respect from some students.

This was a really important scene because the students are saying how they feel and the teacher really tries to help and understand what they are going through, this scene was when all the students came out about how they felt about their lives and the struggles. I thought it was a pretty sad scene because the emotion the students were showing it really gets you interested in it and you can feel how sad they really are and you can start to understand how they feel.

I fully agree because this was when the student and teacher properly made a connection.
