There is an issue with the education system and the head teachers get to decide who gets to learn and who doesn't. In the movie "Freedom Writers" (2007) the head teacher/principal "Mrs Margaret Campbell" didn't think all children at her school deserved extra education and help. A group of children who were involved in gang and racial violence were not given a chance until "Mrs Erin Gruwell" came along. It was unfair that other children got advantages and not the once who were involved in gang violence. When Mrs Gruwell came to the school it was her first time teaching and Mrs Campbell decided to put all the children she didn't think would succeed in Mrs Gruwell's class. Mrs Gruwell decided to work three different jobs just to help these children and Mrs Campbell didn't like these children getting extra privileges. These issues in the education system is why we have people involved in gangs instead of their schooling because teachers don't care about them.
