Mrs. Gruwell - Brodie

Mrs. Gruwell, the teacher, eventually gained the respect of all her students. She wanted to take them on excursions and get people to come and speak to them but the principal didn’t give her permission or any money to do it. Mrs. G had to get multiple other jobs to earn enough money for the students. She would always be working and never had time to spend at home with her husband. Her husband ended up breaking up with her because she was never at home and he barely got to see her anymore. I think it was really selfish of him and it proved that he didn’t actually love her that much.
